Students in the Teen Court program at Percy L. Julian School, had a chance to meet Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, Phoenix City Manager, Mr. Jeff Barton, members of the Phoenix City Council, staff from Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church and other dignitaries to Celebrate the Street Sign Dedication for the late Bishop Alexis A. Thomas on Nov. 3.  

The students asked great questions of the Mayor, City Manager and others in attendance and shared their career goals as well as their Love for Teen Court. They also received a street sign for their school with Bishop Alexis A. Thomas's name on it to Commemorate the special day. 

Bishop Alexis A. Thomas was a product of the Roosevelt School District, a Percy L Julian Eagle graduate and a supporter of Teen Court within Roosevelt until his passing in 2018.
