Update from Dr. Boyce
  • Return to School Update from RSD Superintendent, Dr. Quintin Boyce

As of June 29, 2020, Governor Ducey issued an Executive Order to delay the in-person start of the 2020-2021 school year until Monday August 17, 2020. While Arizona schools will not be able to offer an in-person option before the date approved by the State, Roosevelt will begin to offer distance learning opportunities on August 3, 2020 to ensure that our students receive the academic, social and emotional, and additional resources that they need to be healthy and successful. • Message from the Superintendent Regarding Returning to School

    June 24, 2020

    Hello Roosevelt Community,

As we continue working through our plan to return to school for the 2020-2021 school year, I wanted to provide you with a brief video address updating you on our work. Click here for a brief video update .

The district’s return to school task force has been hard at work since the school closures began to develop a thorough, safe and effective plan to return to school in the fall.

As a district we want to ensure that all of our community is heard from and acknowledged. To that end, we created surveys to solicit feedback from our internal and external community regarding their thoughts on returning to school in the fall. Additionally, we will be hosting a series of virtual family and community information sessions to share the latest updates with our community.
