My name is Crystal Coleman and I am delighted to join the team as the Head Start Teacher this coming school year. What an honor! I am overjoyed about this opportunity to be able to come back full circle and work with the "little people" again.

I am very familiar with the program, as I have taught Head Start at the old Valley View Elementary School 17 years ago. I love the program and value its importance in preparing our students to become life long learners. I have been teaching kindergarten through 3rd grades to date, and therefore am bubbling with excitement to bring back creative ways to support our youngest students.

I am a team player and still believe that it takes a village to raise a child. Head Start is where we can begin some of our best work teaching children! I can't wait to get started! My heart is embedded in this community that I left so many years ago.

I look forward to meeting you all and serving our community. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. If there is anything you need from me, let me know.

I am Mrs. Graciela Roggero. I have been in education for over 25 years and I have worked for Roosevelt School District since December 2005. In 2018 I came to Valley View School in August 2018, and fell in love with this school from the moment I stepped in. It has the most professional and nicest people one could ever wish to work with. My passion for teaching woke up when I was a little girl.  My first students were my neighbors, I used to put some chairs outside in the front yard a chalk board and there I had my classroom! I come from a family of educators; both my grandparents were my professors in High School and my mother was an Elementary School Principal.

I have two children and three grandchildren! On the weekends I take my grandchildren to the library, to the zoo and to different museums. I just love to spend time with them!

In my free time or vacation time I love to travel with my husband. We enjoy visiting National Parks. I also enjoy reading and painting.

Valley View is an excellent school with highly professionals teachers and administrators and an anchor to our community!

Hello, I am a Kindergarten teacher at Valley View Leadership Academy and feel so blessed as this will be my 25th year in the profession. I received my Bachelors Degree in Bilingual Elementary Education and my Master’s Degree as a School Guidance Counselor from Grand Canyon University. Valley View Leadership Academy is the only place where I have taught since I began my teaching journey.

As a child, I attended schools in the Roosevelt School District and I am proud to say; I am a Roosevelt School District alumni. I feel that it is important to create a loving, caring and nurturing classroom environment so a love for learning can happen. I enjoy seeing students grow academically and socially. As their teacher, I teach students the importance of honesty, having a heart, and being scholars and leaders. I love the sound of kinder children laughing and hearing the funniest things they say and seeing the funniest things they do.

I have been married for 30+ years and have two wonderful adult children. In November of 2019, I was blessed with a BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING grandson; Oliver. My favorite past times are spending time with family, being around HAPPY, POSITIVE people. I enjoy coffee, Boba tea, teas, salads, almonds, cinnamon /vanilla aroma, candles and shopping.

I invite families out to experience the Valley View’s culture and look forward to meeting you.
