As we prepare for Spring Break, we wanted to provide clarity around our learning plans for when we return. Earlier this week, we communicated our plan to have students choosing in-person learning return to campus on March 30. After we shared our plans, the Governor released an executive order that requires any family that selected an in-person or hybrid learning option should have the opportunity to be back in classrooms following Spring Break. As a result of the new executive order, we have revised our return to school timeline and the in-person hybrid learning model will now begin on Monday, March 22, 2021. We encourage you to read Superintendent Dr. Quintin Boyce's full statement. (Click the title of this post for the link.)
We are excited to communicate that our team is ready to offer an in-person learning experience beginning the week of March 29 for those families that selected this option. After a full year of teaching and learning in a remote environment we are thankful to be able offer an in-person learning option later this month. Families that have selected to remain in a virtual learning setting will also have that option. Over the course of the next couple weeks, families will receive additional details directly from their school to provide information about the changes to learning that will occur during the week of March 29. We encourage you to read Superintendent Dr. Quintin Boyce's full statement. (Click the title of this post for the link.)
