• Message from the Superintendent Regarding Returning to School

    June 24, 2020

    Hello Roosevelt Community,

As we continue working through our plan to return to school for the 2020-2021 school year, I wanted to provide you with a brief video address updating you on our work. Click here for a brief video update .

The district’s return to school task force has been hard at work since the school closures began to develop a thorough, safe and effective plan to return to school in the fall.

As a district we want to ensure that all of our community is heard from and acknowledged. To that end, we created surveys to solicit feedback from our internal and external community regarding their thoughts on returning to school in the fall. Additionally, we will be hosting a series of virtual family and community information sessions to share the latest updates with our community.

The food will now be distributed out of the school cafeteria buildings in an effort to keep all food, staff and community out of the heat. C.O. Greenfield, Amy Houston and John F.
